His first influences were The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Jimmy Hendrix. As James grew older and having stumbled across one of his father’s old LP’s he began to take an interest in country music. Listening to country legends such as Hank Williams, Merle Haggard and George Jones, James was smitten with the ‘country feel’.This opened up a whole new world for James and he began to hone his voice by singing and playing guitar in his dad’s band.After experiencing life on the road and onstage, James has found a new passion for the lifestyle of a travelling band.
