Robert Mizzell – ‘Rose of My Heart’

‘Rose Of My Heart’ is the title of Robert Mizzell’s new single. Taken from his award-winning, best selling album ‘Thanks A Lot’ it’s a song that proving extremely popular for the Westmeath based singer.

‘Rose Of My Heart’ is a waltz and was written by Hugh Moffatt, it was recorded by a number of top America artists including, Johnny Rodriguez and the legendary Johnny Cash.

This a song that when first written was way ahead of it’s time, but fits in perfectly well with do day’s busy world. Many people in to day’s world don’t seem to have time for the small things in life. A close listen to the lyrics of this song will bring one back to the reality of life.

Robert, recently returned from a very successful ten-day tour to The United States, the group of 110 fans and friends visited Dyess Arkansas, Memphis, Nashville, Virginia and Gatlinburg on a tour to remember. The tour had a Cash/Carter theme to it and the group visited places and meet people associated with Johnny Cash and June Carter – Cash, including people who grew up with Johnny in Dyess and his brother Tommy and sister Joanne.

Robert also got the opportunity to perform in some elite venues including The Midnite Jamboree, The Cowboy Church, and The Carter Family Fold. Robert was humbled and honoured to be invited to perform the opening twenty-five minute slot at The Country Tonite Theatre in Pigeon Forge. He also entertained the local people in Dyess Arkansas where Johnny Cash grew up. While in Arkansas the state media (Television, Radio and the print media) took a major interest in Robert and the group.

Robert’s London music weekend is already a sell out; on the London weekend and the Johnny Cash tribute tour people were disappointed when both trips sold out in record time and they were unable to book.

Plans are at an advanced stage for next years trip to the United States, which will be a very exiting trip and like nothing else previously undertaken by Robert it’s bound to sell out fast.
