It is my great privilege to introduce you to up and coming Country artist Jason McGilligan, with his debut single, "Dim Lights, Thick Smoke" a duet with Country Star Kieran McGilligan. It is accompanied by the classic country B-side, "Darling Days.

Hailing from Limavady in the heart of the Roe Valley, the 25 year old singer grew up on classic sounds of Slim Whitman, Merle Haggard and Johnny Cash to name a few, thus developing his deep love and kinship for country music.

Jason began playing music in 1999 in a two piece band with his father on the local circuit.

It was here that he established himself as a gifted enterainer. In Dec 2002, they recevied an award at the "Close Contact Arwards for Dedication And Contribution awarded to most outstanding Country Duo. Jason continued this appretship for several years, whilst steadily gaining the attention of audience across the scene.

Due to this growing requtation , he was approched by Kieran McGilligan to appear as his contestant on this years" TG4 GLor Tire showcase - Search for the voice of Country.

Thanks to Jason's performances on this widely regarded show, Jason received phenomenal feedback from country musis fans across Ireland and has proven himself to be one of Irish Country Music's most promising new talents.

At this point, having several television performances now under his belt and continuing guest appearances with Kieran McGilligan Band, Jason has aspirations of taking his career in country music to the next level and realising his dream of having a show band of his own, touring alongside the greats.

And so under the hopeful guidance of cousin and mentor Kieran McGilligan, and with the ready support of his fans, Jason now proudly releases his debut single, "Dim Lights, Thick Smoke".
