Dessie Hynes comes from Mullingar Co. Westmeath. Dessie meanwhile will be familiar to many as being a member of Foster & Allen’s band were he worked as Band Leader, Record Producer & Music Arranger. He has also worked with Isla Grant. Dessie has also had a number of successful recordings in his own right including amusing songs such as ‘Rosie Black’ and ‘The Barmaid I met in Kinsale’.

Dessie is internationally recognized as one of the most talented music makers in the business. He has also done session work on numerous Irish albums. and has produced chart - topping albums for well known artistes including Charlie Landsborough, Foster & Allen, Seamus Shannon, Seamus Moore, Richie Kavanagh and TR Dallas.

Those who have heard Dessie playing in various dance venues around the country will agree that his sound and music are second to none.

On completion of an Isla Grant concert tour, Isla presented Dessie with a song that she had specially written for him. "I'm On The Road Again"
